Senior Credit Risk Strategist

As a Senior Credit Risk Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's credit analysis strategy. You will lead the team responsible for underwriting deals for the US market and work closely with the Credit Committee in New York to ensure seamless functioning of the credit function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead the Credit Analyst team in India that underwrites deals for the US market.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Work closely with the Credit Committee in New York to ensure seamless functioning of the credit function.
  • Credit Analysis: Ensure quality of credit analysis, train and mentor the team to ensure adherence to underwriting quality metrics.
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee daily underwriting pipeline and queues to ensure timely movement, balanced workloads, and efficient resource allocation.
  • Escalated Issues: Serve as the first point of contact for escalated or complex underwriting scenarios, providing guidance and resolving issues to support smooth loan flow.

Requirements:

  • Education: PG/Master's degree from a premier college with a specialization in finance, economics or a related field.
  • Experience: Experience in credit analysis, especially in the real estate industry. Exposure to the US market will be an advantage.
  • Leadership: Experience in leading a small team of highly skilled analysts.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills.
