A senior-level professional sought for a challenging role as a principal subject matter expert. This position requires a deep understanding of credit risk modeling, with experience in developing and validating IFRS 9/ IndAS 109 models. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to lead consulting engagements with leading banks, financial institutions, and corporates.

">The selected individual will be responsible for demonstrating knowledge on various loan products, including wholesale loans, auto loans, personal loans, mortgage finance, and education loans.This role also involves driving day-to-day execution of client projects, leading hiring and mentoring initiatives, and designing detailed project plans.The successful candidate will be expected to provide regular updates to business unit leaders and participate in performance evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

As a principal subject matter expert, the following key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage consulting engagements with clients across the globe, focusing on credit risk areas such as IFRS 9 model development, ECL computation, and provisions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in credit risk modeling, including default and recovery rate modeling, roll rate analysis, periodic default rates, statistical methods, and regression models.
  • Develop and implement detailed project plans for assigned engagements, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Directly report to business unit leaders and provide regular updates on engagement progress.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  1. Extensive experience in credit risk modeling, with a focus on IFRS 9/ IndAS 109 model development and validation.
  2. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive client engagement.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights.
  4. Proficiency in MS Excel, VBA, Python, R, and SAS, with experience in using these tools for data analysis and modeling.
