Job Title: Senior Economist

Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished economist with a strong background in econometrics and macroeconomic data analysis to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in economic research, with expertise in building and maintaining econometric models to forecast future trends and risks.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex econometric models to analyze and forecast macroeconomic trends.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify economic patterns and themes.
  • Monitor and assess global economic developments and their potential impact on markets.
  • Write and publish research commentaries to accompany data analysis and discuss market drivers.
  • Conduct project work on macro and market projects relevant to the Indian market.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education
  • Master's degree in Economics or a related field.
  • Work Experience
  • 2-4 years of post-qualification work experience as an Economic Analyst or Junior Economist dealing primarily with modeling work and research analysis.
  • Skills
  • Advanced quantitative and mathematical skills with experience working with large datasets.
  • Expertise in Excel, VBA, and econometrics, with knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Communication Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate research findings and market insights.
