Transformative Role: Counselling Manager - Undergraduate Applications

A key opportunity exists for an experienced Counselling Manager to join our team and oversee the entire undergraduate admissions process from onboarding to final university decisions.

  • The role involves guiding students in developing strong academic and extracurricular profiles, including research, internships, competitions, and community impact projects.
  • Our ideal candidate will strategize personalized student journeys by advising on subject selection, standardized testing, university shortlisting, and long-term academic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and provide detailed feedback on all application components, including personal statements, SOPs, LORs, essays, resumes, and forms.
  2. Manage and mentor a team of counselors to ensure consistency, timely communication, and adherence to admissions timelines.
  3. Coordinate with internal teams—mentors, editors, and test prep specialists—to align strategy and execution for each student.
  4. Provide expert guidance on U.S., U.K., and Canadian admissions platforms such as Common App, UCAS, and OUAC.
  5. Advise families on academic equivalencies, scholarship opportunities, interview preparation, and offer comparisons.
  6. Maintain clear communication with students and parents, providing regular progress updates, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  7. Track and document student milestones to ensure timely completion of deliverables and a smooth admissions process.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's and Master's degree in any discipline (preferably from or with experience studying in the U.S., U.K., or Canada).
  • 2–4 years of experience in academic counseling, university admissions, or education advisory roles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially in academic and admissions writing.
  • Proven organizational and multitasking abilities, with the confidence to manage multiple high-stakes student timelines.
  • Empathetic, detail-oriented, and proactive—able to build trust with students and families and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
