Job Summary

The Senior Occupational Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for leading the implementation of occupational health and safety strategies to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

This key role will provide guidance on developing and implementing health and safety policies, procedures, and protocols to meet regulatory requirements and company standards.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement occupational health and safety strategies to reduce workplace hazards and risks.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement corrective actions to address safety issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, near-misses, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in occupational health and safety performance.
  • Develop and implement programs to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety, preferably in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
