Backend Developer Opportunity

About the Role

We seek a seasoned Backend Developer to create and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop efficient backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
  • Work with SQL/MySQL databases to design schemas, optimize queries, and improve database performance.
  • Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end features.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployments.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and design decisions for new systems.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5–8 years of backend development experience with Java.
  • Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL/MySQL indexing, joining, query optimization, and data modeling.
  • Solid debugging and problem-solving skills in production systems.
  • Experience with Kafka, Redis, and NoSQL databases is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of software engineering best practices (Agile, CI/CD, TDD).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
