About Us:

    We are seeking a seasoned Backend Developer to architect, build, and scale the robust backend infrastructure that powers our wealth management platform. This role requires someone who can design secure, high-performance systems capable of handling financial data, real-time portfolio updates, and seamless integrations while ensuring the highest standards of security and compliance in the fintech space.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Create scalable backend services and mobile-optimized RESTful APIs
  • Build robust server-side architecture supporting real-time portfolio updates, automated investing, and AI-driven recommendations
  • Design microservices architecture that supports rapid feature deployment and app scalability
  • Implement secure integrations with financial data providers, trading platforms, and banking systems
  • Develop automated investment execution systems, portfolio calculation engines, and transaction processing
  • Maintain enterprise-grade security, data encryption, authentication, and compliance with financial regulations
  • Optimize database performance, implement caching strategies, and design fault-tolerant systems for high availability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration and deployment
  • Educate junior developers, conduct code reviews, and participate in technical architecture decisions

    Required Expertise

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years in backend development for fintech or complex transactional platforms
  • Proficiency in backend languages (Node.js, Python, Java), database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), DevOps (Docker, AWS EC2, Nginx, Linux), and REST APIs
  • Track record of building secure, scalable, and resilient backend systems
  • Advanced understanding of backend architecture, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and collaboration skills
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, optimize performance, and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced startup environments
  • Familiarity with financial regulations, investment products, and real-time trading systems
