Senior Backend Developer Position

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our development team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing and deploying scalable and efficient back-end systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing robust and scalable back-end systems using Python and microservices architecture.
  • Designing and implementing RESTful APIs with data caching, JWT auth, API load testing, and RAML.
  • Ensuring the security of APIs by implementing best practices and rigorous testing.
  • Mentoring junior developers to enhance team efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and enhancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of strong coding experience in Python.
  • Proven expertise in RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, containers (Docker), container orchestration (Kubernetes), serverless computing (AWS Lambda), and distributed and scalable systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, bash scripting, SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Amazon Aurora, Redis, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, and Git.
  • Ability to profile, identify, and resolve performance bottlenecks in application and database layers.
  • Solid understanding of API security best practices and ability to write documentation and create architecture diagrams.
