Job Overview
">We are looking for a skilled IT Service Desk professional to join our team. The primary objective is to provide top-notch technical support and maintain a stable IT environment.
">Role Responsibilities
">- Provide initial technical assistance to end-users.
- Categorize, log, and prioritize all incoming IT support tickets.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, applications, and network connectivity issues.
- Assist users with password resets, account unlocks, and basic application support.
- Evaluate complex or unresolved issues and escalate them to senior engineers.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of IT procedures and solutions.
- Educate users on common IT issues and best practices.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required.
Qualifications and Skills
">- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in an IT service desk role.
- Strong knowledge of Mac Systems, Windows systems, Google Administration, Google Workspace Applications, common business applications.
- Fundamental understanding of network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Customer-focused mindset with a focus on providing positive user experiences.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
">- ITIL Foundation certification would be beneficial.
- Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).
- Familiarity with remote support tools.
