Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Economist to lead our macroeconomic analysis and forecasting efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in econometrics, with expertise in building and maintaining complex models to forecast future trends and risks. They will also be skilled in analyzing large datasets to identify economic trends and themes, and able to communicate their findings effectively through written reports and presentations.

Requirements
  • Masters in Economics or related field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of post-qualification work experience as an Economic Analyst/Macro Strategist/Junior Economist.
  • Strong quantitative and mathematical skills, with experience working with large datasets.
  • Advanced Excel, VBA analytical skills and knowledge of econometrics. Working knowledge of Python or R is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write research reports and comment on market developments.
  • Prior experience of macro research or equity research in Indian markets is a plus.
