Job Title: Finance Director

About the Role:

The Financial Director will be responsible for developing and leading the resort's financial strategy, driving budgeting and forecasting processes, managing end-to-end accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to the resort's long-term profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the resort
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports
  • Monitor and manage accounts payable, receivable, and cash flow operations
  • Analyze financial performance, trends, and key metrics to support strategic decisions
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax filings, and audit processes
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks through internal controls and cost optimization initiatives
  • Collaborate with operations, procurement, and marketing teams to align financial goals with business objectives
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to best practices
  • Coordinate with external auditors and stakeholders for audit readiness and financial disclosures
  • Assist in evaluating financial viability of new projects or business initiatives within the resort

Requirements:

  • Strong command over financial planning, analysis, and reporting
  • Proficiency in managing accounting functions including AP, AR, reconciliation, and cash flow
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian financial regulations, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
  • Experience in hospitality finance or resort-based financial operations preferred
  • Hands-on expertise in financial software (Tally ERP, SAP, or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable insights
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and analytical mindset with problem-solving ability
  • Team-oriented with a proactive and process-driven approach

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field
  • Professional certifications like CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA (Finance) are preferred
