Supply Chain Digital Transformation Lead

This role is responsible for leading the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to enhance procurement, planning, third-party manufacturing, and distribution processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, analytics, and machine learning, with experience in leveraging advanced analytics and AI/ML to optimize operations and drive efficiencies.

The successful candidate will be able to develop and execute a comprehensive Supply Chain data science and AI strategy that aligns with procurement and planning and distribution objectives. They will also be responsible for identifying and integrating key data sources, evaluating and implementing emerging technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to prioritize data science initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute Data Science Strategy: Design and implement predictive AI/ML models to enhance demand forecasting accuracy, optimize inventory levels, distribution planning, and improve supplier performance evaluation.
  • Integrate Key Data Sources: Identify and integrate internal and external data sources to enhance visibility and accuracy in procurement decisions and planning & distribution processes.
  • Evaluate Emerging Technologies: Evaluate and implement emerging technologies and tools (e.g., GenAI, IoT, digital twins) that enhance data collection, analysis, and visualization capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with procurement, supply chain, planning, and IT teams to identify data needs and ensure alignment on data initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Master's degree or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 12-15 years of experience in data science, analytics, or related fields, with a focus on procurement, planning, third-party manufacturing, or distribution.
  • Technical Competencies: Proficiency in data science tools, data warehouses, and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Agentic AI). Experience with machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Gen AI).
  • Behavioral Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication and interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and a results-oriented mindset.
