Job Title:

Innovations Lead - Beauty Products


Job Summary:

As an Innovations Lead, you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of innovative beauty products that meet our design-led roadmap.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop problem statements, user requirements, and success metrics to align with brand, supply chain, and finance goals.
  2. Drive concept development from idea to prototype, manage tooling, tolerances, materials, and reliability testing.
  3. Evaluate motor, heat, and airflow modules, power electronics, and safety features.
  4. Identify and qualify suppliers, negotiate minimum order quantities, and build should-cost models.
  5. Plan test protocols and documentation for compliance with regulatory bodies.
  6. Partner with industrial designers to ensure ergonomics, acoustic comfort, thermals, and serviceability.
  7. Pilot product builds, set up production lines, develop SOPs, and create user manuals.
  8. Track field performance, NPS/reviews, and failure modes to drive rapid revisions and cost/quality improvements.

Must-Have Qualifications:
  1. 6-10 years of experience in hardware new product development for small appliances/consumer electronics/beauty devices.
  2. Proven DFM/DFX, basic electrical/mechanical literacy, and tooling expertise.
  3. Strong vendor management skills, including RFQs, BOMs, PPAP/FAT, and supplier qualification.
  4. Familiarity with global compliance pathways for consumer devices.
  5. Proficiency in CAD tools, FEA/CFD interpretation, Jira/PLM, and Excel for should-cost analysis.
