Job Title: Product Director

Cava Athleisure is a fast-growing direct-to-consumer brand blending global aesthetics with Indian sensibilities.

Role Overview

The Product Director will lead our design vision and buying strategy, creating collections that resonate with our community.

This role will balance creativity, commercial viability, and speed to market.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop seasonal collections aligned with Cava Athleisure's brand identity and consumer needs.
  2. Translate global trends, consumer insights, and brand strategy into product lines.
  3. Innovate in fabrics, silhouettes, and functionality for athleisure and lifestyle segments.
  4. Oversee sampling, prototyping, and quality benchmarking.
  5. Define assortment strategies across categories, price points, and channels.
  6. Negotiate costs, MOQs, and timelines to optimize margins and speed.
  7. Maintain balanced inventory.
  8. Collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
  9. Drive calendar discipline.
  10. Analyze sales & performance data.
  11. Mentor and build a high-performing team.
Requirements
  1. ~10 years of experience in D2C fashion design, buying, or merchandising—athleisure/activewear experience in men's and women's wear.
  2. Strong eye for fashion trends, consumer behavior, and product innovation.
  3. Ability to balance design aesthetics with commercial outcomes.
  4. Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
  5. Leadership experience in managing teams and cross-functional collaboration.
  6. Degree in Fashion Design/Merchandising/Business or related field.
