Position of Construction Contracts Manager

  • Position: Contracts Manager

  • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech In Civil Engineering and Similar Certification courses.
  • Experience: 10 to 20 Years
  • Project Nature: Metro and Buildings

Basic Criteria:

  • Effective Cost Management and Communication skills.
  • Good knowledge & experience in standard method of measurements.
  • Sound contracts administration and Management skills.
  • Capable of monitoring cost control techniques.
  • Good at project Commercial Management skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain accurate project documentation from inception to completion of the project chronologically for all claim-related matters.
  2. Familiar with Employer's requirements based on package-wise, Conditions of Contract, and the project schedule agreed in the contract.
  3. Identify changes to project scope, schedule, and cost and ensure timely issue a notification to the employer for the changes, follow-up, and approval.
  4. Track submitted claims letters individually, and prepare contractual justification referring to the contractual conditions and necessary additional supporting documents to substantiate the Contractor's claim.
  5. Prepare Contractual reply/request to the employer for claim approval.
  6. Prepare Claim documents
  7. Prepare detailed claim statement for all claims for Submission to DAAB
  8. Prepare detailed presentation of the claim from start of occurrence to present status of the claim to the Advocate and take the next level of dispute resolution.
  9. Update claim status to RO/HO
  10. Coordinate with the project team and get required details/prepare necessary inputs as required by Ho/RO team.
  11. Prepare Comprehensive EOT application. Substantiate with contemporary records and references, and assist the project team in presenting to the employer, following up until the project timeline is granted.
  12. Ensure all claims raised by the project team are substantiated with Contract entitlements in accordance with the Conditions of clause.
  13. Prepare required details, provide input to the DAAB committee
  14. Prepare required details, provide input to the advocate for arbitration, and till the issue is resolved.
  15. Meet deadlines on time without any delay. Able to work under pressure.
  16. Work closely with reporting manager and prepare additional reports/work as directed.
