Job Title: Senior Legal Executive

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in legal contract review and negotiation, with expertise in IT/software industry-specific contracts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating contracts across various jurisdictions, including the US, UK, and EU. They will also provide legal advice on contractual obligations and commercial terms, and handle data privacy matters, including research, drafting, and staying current with global regulatory developments.

In addition, the role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A law graduate with approximately 4-6 years of experience, including at least 3 years in the IT/software industry, is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and negotiate contracts across various jurisdictions;
  • Provide legal advice on contractual obligations and commercial terms;
  • Handle data privacy matters, including research, drafting, and staying current with global regulatory developments;
  • Draft and maintain standard contract templates and playbooks to streamline the contracting process;
Requirements
  • Law graduate with approximately 4-6 years of experience, including at least 3 years in the IT/software industry;
  • Strong expertise in redlining and negotiating IT/software industry-specific contracts such as NDAs, MSAs, vendor agreements, and DPAs;
  • In-depth knowledge of data privacy laws, including GDPR, and experience with related documentation;
  • Knowledge about SaaS contracts is an added advantage;
  • Experience with legal technology tools and AI-powered legal platforms is an advantage;
  • Understanding of legal aspects related to employment contracts and related matters in India is an added advantage;
  • Good communications skills;
  • Five-day office presence is mandatory for this position (non-negotiable).
