Product Portfolio Growth Specialist

As a customer-focused Product Portfolio Growth Specialist, you will drive the adoption of new technology and serve as a technical escalation pathway for assigned products. This is a technical, customer-facing role that requires coordination with various stakeholders to maintain customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks
  • Act as a technical sales leader for assigned products, driving and coordinating activities to achieve sales objectives.
  • Work closely with customers on all aspects of assigned products and their relevant applications, including demos, training, and technical positioning.
  • Utilize CRM systems like Salesforce effectively to manage and document leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Analyze CRM data to identify trends, generate customer insights, and track sales performance.
  • Provide in-depth product knowledge training to salespeople to ensure a high level of product expertise within the sales organization.
  • Collaborate with Product Development and Management teams to support new product launches and provide feedback on customer workflows and market trends.
  • Promote products through conferences, publications, and presentations, while building relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Lead technical and quality escalations for assigned products.
Qualifications
  • Academic degree in life sciences or engineering; higher education is desirable.
  • Relevant experience in the biopharmaceutical industry as an application specialist or scientist in product development.

  • Technical leadership with a strong understanding of product technologies and their applications.
  • Data-driven mindset coupled with business acumen and passion for business impact.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan and deliver against tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and active listening skills.
  • Hands-on knowledge and proactive usage of CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for external customer engagement.
