Portfolio Management Specialist

The role of a Portfolio Manager is crucial to driving growth and success within an organization. As a key member of the portfolio team, you will play a pivotal part in contributing to the company's overall strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, competitive insights, and gaps in the market.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Product Identification Forms (PIFs) to ensure timely updates.
  • Assist with calendarization of product launches, regulatory filings, and market entry activities to optimize results.
  • Manage the product portfolio tracker to ensure consistency and accuracy in updates.
  • Provide regular updates on niche products and evaluate potential additions to the portfolio to drive growth.
  • Perform Reference Listed Drug (RLD) analysis to track competitive products and regulatory status.
  • Conduct in-depth ophthalmics and oral liquid product analysis to identify trends and market opportunities.
  • Contribute to drug shortage analysis and keep teams informed about potential impacts.
  • Analyze Competitive Generic Therapy (CGT) strategies to assess market position.
  • Track and report on patent information changes in the Orange Book supplement.
  • Support pipeline management for underdeveloped products and maintain filing and launch timelines.
  • Participate in Product Lifecycle Management (PLC) activities to ensure effective management throughout all stages of a product's lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Up to 2-3 years of experience in portfolio management or market research, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office, and basic knowledge of data analysis tools.
