As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of Passenger Car BIW. We are seeking an experienced professional with 6-8 years of experience in this field.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Passenger Car BIW structure and Assembly, as well as expertise in joining techniques of BIW structures.

You will be responsible for concept generation of components, cost optimization ideas on components and assembly, and in-depth knowledge of DFM and DFA of BIW components.

Your expertise should also include knowledge on material, FMEA, GD&T, and Stack Up, as well as team center knowledge.

Additionally, you will be responsible for understanding program requirements and managing deliverables accordingly, handling project plans and teams.

Effective communication with cross-functional teams and suppliers is essential, along with strong skills in NX surfacing.

Design reviews, packaging reviews, prototyping activities, and builds are all part of your responsibilities.
