We seek a Senior Electronics Engineer to design and develop high-voltage electronics, mixed-signal systems, FPGA development, and other critical components for our Scanning Electron Microscope.

This is an opportunity to shape the architecture and culture of a pioneering project in India's semiconductor-equipment ecosystem.

The successful candidate will deliver the electronics that make the instrument feel instant and synchronized, including a common timing spine, responsive beam control, low-noise power, and lossless, high-throughput data capture.

  • Design the timing and synchronization backbone so optics, detectors, motion, and software operate in lockstep.
  • Build mixed-signal boards: beam control drivers, detector front-ends, data-acquisition, and robust control I/O.
  • Ensure clean, stable power and grounding/shielding for quiet images and strong EMC behavior.
  • Provide diagnostics, fixtures, and logs so issues are obvious and field-debuggable.

To succeed in this role, you should have a track record shipping mixed-signal/FPGA systems in instruments, vision, or semiconductor/robotics gear, strong bench skills with scopes, analyzers, and bring-up, and be pragmatic about testability and manufacturability.

  • Deterministic, synchronized operation across subsystems.
  • Stable, low-noise performance visible in images and analytics.
  • Lossless capture during long runs and lean EMC pre-checks.

You will work hands-on, ship a tool that moves research and industry forward, and be part of a collaborative and documentation-minded team that thinks in interfaces and failure modes.
