Job Title: Data Systems Manager

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Systems Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing data systems that meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Database Administration: Manage and maintain databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) Cluster Management: Administer and monitor CDP clusters, including topic management, performance tuning, and security.
  • Apache Kafka Cluster Administration: Monitor and manage Apache Kafka clusters, including topic management, performance tuning, and security.
  • Database Replication: Administer database replication between servers, across Local Area Network and Wide Area Network.
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the data stack in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in database administration and management.
  • Expertise in Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) and Apache Kafka.
  • Strong understanding of data security and compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
