We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Data Systems Engineer. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance databases that support AI-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable database architectures (SQL & NoSQL) to support AI-driven applications.
  • Optimize database queries, indexing, and performance tuning for secure data integrity.
  • Ensure data security, compliance, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines to support AI/ML and analytics workflows.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers on vector databases and RAG pipelines.
  • Integrate databases with APIs, CRMs, and external systems.
  • Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong proficiency with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL).
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB).
  • Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, FAISS).
  • Expertise in database optimization, indexing, and partitioning.
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data modeling.
  • Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, Azure SQL).
  • Familiarity with backup, replication, and high availability strategies.
  • Strong Python/SQL scripting skills for automation.
