Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Technical Specialist to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong mechanical engineering background and a proven track record in application and process engineering within an automotive exhaust manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise in the design, development, and application of exhaust systems for automotive applications.
  • Lead and contribute to the process engineering aspects of exhaust system manufacturing, including process optimization, tooling selection, and equipment validation for processes like Welding, Tube Bending, Forming, Leak Testing, and Painting.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues related to exhaust system design, performance, and manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and implement best practices and standardized processes for exhaust system production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and technical reviews for new product development and process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Application Engineering and Process Engineering within the automotive industry.
  • Proven experience working in a Tier 1 company specializing in the manufacturing of exhaust systems.
  • Strong understanding of exhaust system design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes, including Welding, Tube Bending, Forming, Leak Testing, and Painting.
  • Hands-on experience in managing Exhaust NPD projects.
