About This Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to manage all legal and compliance matters for our business. This role involves drafting, reviewing and vetting contracts, agreements, affidavits and applications, as well as handling compliance-related work across corporate, real estate and regulatory matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review and approve contracts, agreements, affidavits and applications with precision and attention to detail.
  • Manage compliance-related work across various areas, including corporate, real estate and regulatory matters.
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings, hearings and government offices when required.
  • Prepare and file applications, petitions and responses with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain organized legal records and case files.
  • Collaborate with senior advocates, external counsel and consultants to ensure smooth handling of ongoing matters.
  • Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and keep management updated.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to management on various transactions and disputes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • LL.B. degree (LL.M. preferred but not mandatory).
  • Enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of India.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in litigation, compliance or corporate law (real estate exposure preferred).
  • Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory processes, property laws and commercial law.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with senior lawyers.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines independently.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should be proactive, independent and able to manage a wide range of legal responsibilities. They should also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and coordination skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
