Principal Associate Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Associate to lead and manage key Intellectual Property (IP) related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle end-to-end IP matters including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and designs.
  • Advise clients on IP strategy, protection, enforcement, and commercialization.
  • Draft, review, and file IP applications (national & international), oppositions, assignments, and licensing agreements.
  • Represent clients in IP litigation and enforcement actions.
  • Conduct IP due diligence, freedom to operate (FTO), and infringement analysis.
  • Liaise with external counsels, authorities, and international associates for cross-border IP matters.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends, legal amendments, and case laws related to IP.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Law (LL.B / LL.M).
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in IP law.
  • Strong legal drafting, analytical, and research skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client-handling abilities.
  • Proven track record in managing complex IP portfolios and high-stakes litigation.
