We are looking for a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to lead our company's financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing our financial health and long-term growth by developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Develop and manage comprehensive financial plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to optimize costs and drive revenue growth.
    • Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making and drive business success.
  • Business Partnering:
    • Collaborate with leaders to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks for financial management.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and ensure alignment with financial goals.
  • Accounting & Compliance:
    • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
    • Spearhead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities, including accruals and monthly analysis of actuals versus provisions.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
  • Cash Flow & Risk Management:
    • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
    • Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect our financial interests.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team to achieve organizational goals.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing clear and concise insights into our financial performance.
    • Collaborate with practice heads to align financial goals with business objectives and drive business success.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant with 8+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in a technology services industry.
  • Proficiency in financial software, such as QuickBooks or Zoho.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and detail orientation, with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
