Job Title:

A seasoned project scheduler seeks to leverage their expertise in planning and execution to drive project success.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced project scheduler with a strong background in construction scheduling, specifically using Primavera P6. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and managing schedules, ensuring timely delivery, and identifying areas for improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date project schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather progress data and ensure seamless communication.
  • Analyze project trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed.
  • Monitor and control project portfolios across Canada, ensuring compliance with relevant project and contract materials.
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports highlighting variances to baseline schedules.
  • Support the development and implementation of project controls plans and procedures.
  • Liaise with client project control personnel and subcontract personnel to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in scheduling supporting the construction industry.
  • University degree/diploma in engineering or business administration, or a combination of education and industry experience.
  • Expert in using Primavera P6 (mandatory).
  • Proficient in advanced Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Project.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work on several projects or tasks at once, manage time, organize, and set priorities.
  • Certifications such as PMI's Project Management Professional (PMP) or AACE International's Earned Value Professional (EVP) are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to compile detailed reports in narrative, graphical, and tabular format.
