Job Title: Senior Planning Manager – Hospitality Projects

A senior professional is required to lead and oversee the planning and scheduling of large-scale hospitality construction projects in Mumbai.

About the Role:

The Senior Planning Manager will bring in-depth knowledge of project planning methodologies, hospitality sector standards, and a proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed project schedules, WBS, timelines, milestones, using Primavera P6, MS Project.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, design, procurement, construction, to ensure timely planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management through dashboards and reports.
  • Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and identify potential delays with mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with cost control teams to align schedules with budget forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with hospitality brand standards, building codes, and client requirements.
  • Manage planning teams and mentor junior planners across multiple projects.
  • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and vendors to track deliverables and resolve planning issues.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Master's preferred.
  • 12 years of experience in project planning within the construction industry, with a minimum of 5 years in hospitality projects, hotels, resorts, luxury developments, etc.
  • Strong command of Primavera P6, MS Project, and project control tools.
  • Solid understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and local regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
