Enterprise Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Security Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to expand your skill set and contribute to the security and compliance of our enterprise systems.

The successful candidate will have expertise in SAP security design principles, role architecture, and segregation of duties risk identification and remediation. They will also have experience managing complex projects in large-scale SAP environments and excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, and maintain SAP security roles, profiles, and authorizations across ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori, and BW.
  • Manage user provisioning, access requests, and license assignments using SAP Identity Management (IDM).
  • Apply position-based access control models where appropriate.
  • Maintain Firefighter (FF) access via SAP GRC 12.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, segregation of duties requirements, and audit controls.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP authorization issues, IDM provisioning problems, and SAP cloud access challenges.
  • Support security aspects of system maintenance, upgrades, migrations, and new project implementations.
  • Monitor SAP security logs, identify potential risks, and take proactive action.
  • Collaborate with functional, technical, and audit teams to deliver secure and compliant SAP solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain security documentation, reports, and training materials.
  • Lead and manage large-scale SAP Security design and restructuring projects.
  • Provide high-level support, including complex problem determination, for SAP security across Development, Test/QA, and Production environments.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of SAP security design principles and role architecture.
  • Expertise in SoD risk identification and remediation.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects in large-scale SAP environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in SAP Security, including role design, GRC, and IDM.
  • Experience with security in ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori, and related SAP environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based SAP security (e.g., SAP BTP).
  • SAP security certifications (highly regarded).
