Job Title: Enterprise Firewall Specialist

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in network security and firewall management. We are seeking an experienced professional to design, implement, and manage enterprise-level firewall systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Firewalls: Develop and deploy firewall architectures using Palo Alto Networks firewalls, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Administer and Support Firewalls: Manage and maintain enterprise firewall systems, including policy tuning, threat mitigation, and IDS/IPS signature updates.
  • Lead Deployment and Configuration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead the deployment and configuration of PAN VM-Series firewalls using Flex licensing models.
  • Manage Security Features: Administer URL filtering, VPN services, DNS security, and other security features to ensure the integrity of our network.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular firewall rule audits and generate compliance reports to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Stay Updated on Threats: Stay current with evolving threat landscapes and recommend proactive security measures to protect our network.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in Network Security: 5-10 years of experience in network security and firewall management, with a strong focus on Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama.
  • CLOUD Experience: Experience working in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud security frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Security Systems: Strong knowledge of DNS security, bot protection, and endpoint detection systems.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., PCNSA, PCNSE) are preferred but not required.
