Our team is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Data Automation Specialist to support our operations in Bengaluru, India. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful projects, collaborate with talented colleagues, and contribute to the success of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data automation strategies
- Develop and maintain reusable automation scripts using Databricks and PySpark
- Test and validate complex SQL queries and stored procedures for performance improvements
- Design and implement data models and entity relationship diagrams
- Identify and mitigate data quality issues through profiling, auditing, balancing, and reconciliation
- Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of automated testing processes
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data automation
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance on enterprise level applications, including Data Engineering and Data Warehouse Testing
- Knowledge of Azure, ADF, ADB, Synapse is an advantage
- Experience in writing complex PySpark and SQL queries
- Ability to determine testability of requirements and create comprehensive test plans
- Extensive exposure to Back-end/ETL Testing with high-level of SQL skills
- Understanding of Data Quality Framework and ability to identify and mitigate data quality issues
- Defect tracking experience using tools like Jira or Bugzilla
- Experience in tuning SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for performance improvements
- Knowledge of data models and entity relationship diagrams
- Knowledge and experience in data masking methodologies and meta data management tools
