We are seeking a Data Engineer Automation Specialist to join our team in Bengaluru, India.

The role offers the chance to apply data engineering principles and automation techniques to ensure high-quality data processing and analysis. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement efficient data pipelines, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience on enterprise-level applications, including data engineering and data warehouse testing.
  • Knowledge of Azure, ADF, ADB, and Synapse is desirable.
  • Experience with automation of QA testing using Databricks, building reusable functions, and classes.
  • Ability to write complex PySpark and SQL queries, determine the types of testing required (data validation, regression, etc.), evaluate testability, and create comprehensive test plans.
  • Experience testing multiple phases in medium to large projects.
  • Adequate experience and clear understanding of data warehouse and data mart testing.
  • Identification and Test Data Preparation Techniques.
  • Extensive exposure to back-end/ETL testing with high-level SQL skills.
  • Understanding of large data sets and data quality frameworks.
  • Experience in data analysis, profiling, auditing, balancing, and reconciliation.
  • Defect tracking experience.
  • Experience tuning SQL queries, stored procedures, views, etc., for performance improvements.
  • Knowledge of data models and entity relationship diagrams.
  • Knowledge and experience in data masking methodologies and metadata management tools.
