Job Title: Cybersecurity Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Cybersecurity Automation Specialist. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation playbooks to streamline security operations, reduce manual workloads, and enhance incident response efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SOAR platforms such as XSIAM and QRadar SOAR, strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or JavaScript, and proven ability to design and deploy custom integrations and APIs for automation workflows.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining automation playbooks within SOAR platforms.
  • Integrating multiple security tools with SOAR for automated incident handling.
  • Collaborating with SOC teams to automate repetitive tasks such as phishing response, malware triage, account lockouts, and threat containment.
  • Creating and maintaining custom scripts to extend SOAR functionalities and integrate unsupported tools.
  • Working closely with L1/L2 analysts to understand manual workflows and translate them into automated playbooks.
  • Building and optimizing detection logic, correlation rules, and incident enrichment pipelines across SIEM/SOAR platforms.
  • Maintaining and optimizing integrations with security platforms such as Proofpoint, Okta, SentinelOne, AWS Security Hub, Chronicle, and more.
  • Providing documentation, knowledge transfer, and training on automation workflows to SOC teams.
  • Ensuring automation aligns with security best practices, compliance, and operational efficiency.

This role requires 4+ years of experience in Security Operations, Automation, or SOAR Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security domains such as phishing defense, malware analysis, threat intel, IAM, and vulnerability management.
