We're seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at TheWorkshop as a STEM Teaching Intern. As a member of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced lead teachers in designing and delivering engaging lesson plans that foster hands-on learning experiences for students.
About the Role:
- You will assist lead teachers in creating and delivering lesson plans and designing DIY activities that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students.
- Effective communication is key in this role, as you will be guiding and supporting students during projects and ensuring they stay on track.
- You will also prepare and organize materials and equipment required for classes, capturing class moments through photos and videos for documentation and promotion purposes.
- Apart from these responsibilities, you will manage inventory and ensure all resources are available for sessions, and handle parent inquiries with professionalism and care.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Math, Engineering, IT, or Computer Applications.
- Possess a strong passion for science, technology, and innovation, with expertise in Science and Mathematics.
- Creative thinking and DIY model-building skills are essential for this role.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is also required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are crucial for success in this position.
