
Regional Sales Strategist

The Role: A strategic Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales strategy, team performance, profitability, and revenue growth in the designated region.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with our objectives.
- Analyze sales metrics to determine business growth potential by region and individual territories.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential threats within the region.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and coach the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets through regular performance reviews and constructive feedback.
- Recruit and manage State Heads / BDM to ensure optimal team coverage across regions.
Client Relationships:
- Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and decision-makers in the region.
- Address and resolve significant client concerns, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with sub-brokers, IFA, and channel partners to drive scale up, retention, and addition of new clients.
Market Insights:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and market challenges.
- Provide valuable insights to senior management and marketing teams regarding competitor activities and market trends.
Key Requirements:
- Masters degree in business, finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of sales experience in the stock brokerage/wealth management industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a large sales team.
- Comprehensive understanding of the stock market, trading platforms, and financial instruments.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Client-centric approach with a focus on relationship building.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
