Job Role:

As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical maintenance function of an automotive sheet metal manufacturing facility. Your primary goal is to ensure maximum machine uptime, reliability, and cost efficiency across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Planning & Execution:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance schedules for all production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure availability of critical spares.
    • Ensure smooth functioning of fabrication machines, welding lines, paint shop, assembly lines, utility systems, electrical, and automation systems.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, guide, and supervise a team of engineers, supervisors, and technicians across multiple shifts, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes skill upgradation and knowledge sharing.
  • Conduct training programs for maintenance staff on new technologies to enhance their skills and contribute to the company's growth.

Continuous Improvement & Cost Control:

  • Apply Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Kaizen, 5S, and root cause analysis techniques to identify and address repetitive breakdowns, reducing maintenance costs while improving machine reliability.
  • Drive automation upgrades and energy-saving initiatives to optimize maintenance costs and improve overall efficiency.
