Finance Director Role Overview

The Finance Director is a critical leadership position responsible for spearheading finance operations across various departments. This role demands an end-to-end ownership of key areas including FP&A, Business Finance, Internal Controls, Compliance, Reporting, and Taxation.

This strategic position plays a pivotal role in driving business outcomes through proactive application of automation and intelligence in finance operations. As a member of the senior leadership team, the Finance Director will work closely with top-level executives to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's overall vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial planning and budgeting processes aligned with business growth goals.
  • Lead quarterly and annual budgeting exercises, leveraging AI-enabled tools for enhanced insights.
  • Build robust forecasting models for revenue, costs, and cash runway.
  • Track key SaaS metrics such as LTV, CAC, NRR, payback period, contribution margins, and ROI on marketing spends using real-time AI-driven insights.
  • Drive variance analysis, scenario planning, and cost-benefit assessments to inform strategic decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • CA qualification or MBA from a top-tier institution
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business finance, preferably in a leadership or managerial capacity

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and a keen willingness to learn
  • Experience or strong interest in applying AI in finance workflows
