We are looking for a skilled professional to establish a new business venture from scratch. As the Business Setup Manager, this individual will serve as a strategic partner to the business leader and be involved in various aspects of the business, including operations, finance, and marketing.

The primary responsibilities of this role include managing all business data, providing actionable insights for improvement, and overseeing business execution on the ground and behind the scenes.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Business Data Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting business data, drawing meaningful insights, and making informed decisions.
  • Execution Ownership: This individual will own the execution of business strategies, working closely with the business leader to ensure successful implementation.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: The Business Setup Manager will act as a liaison between different business functions and the leadership team, facilitating effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Process Building and Productization: This role involves creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the business and individual functions, as well as implementing internal systems and technology solutions to streamline operations.
  • New City Launches: The candidate will play a key role in launching new cities, serving as the city lead for on-ground operations during the initial launch period.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree from a top-tier university and an MBA from a reputable institution.
  • Work experience of 1-5 years in sales and program management, preferably in retail distribution/sales or BFSI.
  • Prior project management experience and comfort with data dashboarding and analysis are essential.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to take ownership, switch context, and build new business skills quickly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
