Job Description:

As a skilled software developer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of critical systems that provide infrastructure services supporting search and information retrieval capabilities for research-based applications and APIs across core products.

  • Actively participate in meetings, processes, agile ceremonies, and interaction with other technology groups to drive collaboration and innovation.
  • Work closely with Lead Engineers and Architects to develop high-performing and scalable software solutions that meet requirements and design specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, or coaching to software or systems engineering teams distributed across geographic locations, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices on using new and emerging technologies.
  • Identify and correct software performance bottlenecks to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Provide regular progress and status updates to management to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Offer technical support to operations or other development teams by assisting in troubleshooting, debugging, and solving critical issues in the production environment to minimize user and revenue impact.
  • Develop and maintain all required technical documentation/manuals related to assigned components to ensure supportability.

About This Opportunity:

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience

  • Ability to debug and diagnose complex issues
  • Experience with version control (Git, GitHub)
  • Proficiency in working with various AWS technologies (DynamoDB, S3, EKS)
  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems
  • Infrastructure as Code, CICD Pipelines
