Job Description :

We are seeking a visionary Chief Java Microservices Architect to lead the design, development, and delivery of large-scale, enterprise-grade microservices solutions for global clients. In this role, you will provide strategic technical leadership, mentor cross-functional teams, and ensure architectural excellence while driving end-to-end delivery from offshore.

You will partner closely with onshore counterparts, senior stakeholders, and client leadership to shape technical direction, ensure delivery quality, and build high-performing teams capable of scaling innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

Architectural Leadership :

- Define, design, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices architectures in line with enterprise standards.

- Establish architectural guidelines, frameworks, and best practices for distributed systems.

- Review, refine, and validate solution designs to ensure alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.

Delivery Oversight :

- Lead the offshore delivery function, ensuring quality, timelines, and stakeholder satisfaction.

- Coordinate with onshore technical leads and client architects to gather requirements and translate them into actionable plans.

- Oversee code reviews, design reviews, and production readiness checks.

Team Mentorship & Collaboration :

- Mentor and upskill development teams on microservices design patterns, API strategies, and emerging technologies.

- Foster a culture of engineering excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Facilitate knowledge sharing across teams and projects to build strong delivery capability.

Stakeholder Engagement :

- Act as the primary offshore technical contact for clients and internal leadership.

- Present technical solutions, project updates, and architectural decisions to senior stakeholders.

- Provide strategic input on technology investments, KPIs, and process improvements.

Core Skills & Requirements :

- Java 8+ mastery with deep knowledge of Spring Boot, RESTful API design, and JPA/Hibernate.

- 5+ years in technical leadership/architectural roles managing distributed teams.

- Proven experience architecting and delivering microservices-based enterprise solutions.

- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Hands-on with event streaming (Kafka) and database technologies (Oracle, MongoDB).

- Solid understanding of DevOps pipelines (Jenkins, Maven, Git/Bitbucket) and monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Splunk).

- Familiarity with UI integration (Angular, Typescript, Bootstrap, HTML) for end-to-end delivery oversight.

- Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills for both technical and executive audiences.

- Proven track record in offshore delivery management for enterprise clients.

Preferred Experience :

- Knowledge of security architecture, API gateways, and performance tuning.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery models and enterprise governance frameworks.

- Experience working with multi-vendor, multi-location teams for large-scale programs.
