
Head of Channel Development

Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will formulate and implement a comprehensive mass distribution strategy in consultation with the Sales Director. They will achieve gross and net acquisition targets in the region for the distribution channel while attaining market leadership through growth in revenues and market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a robust distribution channel strategy to achieve trade advocacy, sustainable reach, coverage, and geographical footprint.
- Establish mechanisms for gathering competition intelligence-based insights for protecting market share and increasing revenue.
Strategic Objectives:
- Contribute to the overall regional sales strategy to drive profitability of the distribution channel.
- Set targets for the distribution channel covering business and distribution KPIs, including gross, GAS, distribution UAO, DURO, and revenue targets.
Operational Objectives:
- Achieve regional revenue targets for the distribution channel across all products and brands.
- Expand the distribution network by appointing and monitoring partners in new and existing areas.
Developmental Objectives:
- Identify development areas and recommend training programs or interventions for distribution manpower.
- Collaborate with the SEM team to develop training programs for internal sales teams and distributors for new products and initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of distribution experience in Telecom/FMCG/Mass Retail Distribution industry.
- Multi-region team leadership experience to bring in best practices.
