Job Title:

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Manager to lead our software development and quality processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with hands-on experience in software development, significant exposure to CMMI for Development, and expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality audits and assessments, including leading/participating in ISO 9001 & CMMI audits.
  • Define, implement, and monitor software development quality processes in line with CMMI for Development, Agile, and Waterfall.
  • Ensure alignment with ISO 9001, CMMI, and related frameworks, and conduct internal/external quality audits.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate software-related risks throughout the SDLC.
  • Drive process enhancements, corrective actions, and adoption of best practices across teams.
  • Conduct training sessions on quality practices, RCA, Agile, and risk management.

Candidate Profile:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in the software industry, with at least 6 years in software development (preferably product companies or IT services).
  • Focused on development project quality processes (not support/maintenance/ITES).
  • At least 75% of career in Tier-1 firms (if from IT services).
  • Background: BE/BTech, started career as a software developer with hands-on coding experience.
  • Certifications: CMMI Assessment Team Member; ISO Lead Assessor preferred.
  • Methodologies: Strong knowledge of CMMI for Development, Agile, and awareness of Waterfall.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical ability.
