Core Finance Expertise Sought for Key Projects

 

A leading company in financial services and management consulting is seeking a highly experienced SAP FICO consultant to lead core finance workstreams. The successful candidate will design, configure, and implement finance controlling solutions on SAP S/4HANA, ensuring best-practice design and managing senior-level stakeholder expectations.

 

The SAP FICO consultant will be embedded onsite with the client in Gurugram, collaborating closely with CFO/CXO stakeholders to ensure seamless SAP FICO operations integration with cross-functional teams, purchasing projects, and sales.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide SME expertise in financial accounting, controlling, group reporting, and financial planning.

- Finalize business requirements with client teams and ensure documentation completeness.

- Validate to-be process designs against SAP best practices and industry standards.

 

Configure and Deliver Complex Areas:

1. Financial organization structure chart of accounts, parallel ledgers, document splitting, multi-currency handling.

2. Procurement finance, PO/non-PO brokerages, guarantees, valuation classes, cash discount handling.

3. Customer invoicing, milestone-based GST compliance, collections, dunning penalties, payment milestones revisions.

4. Asset accounting, ready-to-use capital projects depreciation disposal asset register maintenance.

5. Bank integrations, manual automated payments, BRs cheque handling forecasting cash position.

6. Cost/profit center accounting, budgeting allocations reporting.

7. Group consolidation legal managerial reporting requirements.

 

- Lead cross-module integrations with SAP SD/MM/PS.

- Drive UAT cutover rehearsals sign-offs with business teams.

- Define data migration rules conduct pre-/post-load validation master transactional data.

 

- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders system integrator SI.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 4-10 years hands-on SAP FICO consulting experience.

- 4+ full lifecycle S/4HANA finance implementations blueprinting hypercare.

- At least 2+ end-to-end implementations real estate sector addressing finance-specific challenges consolidation demand notes booking revisions cancellations project reporting.

- Strong consulting exposure interacting directly with CFOS CXOs cross-functional teams.

- Proven expertise data migration large-scale transformation programs.

- Strong project management expertise planning governance risk/issue management delivery.

- Excellent communication skills confidently engaging CFOs senior executives.
