Senior Service Engineer

About the Role:

As a senior service engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer support and service to our clients. With a strong passion for technology and a desire to solve complex problems, you will be responsible for providing technical service, repairs, overhauling, and commissioning of various solutions.

You will take pride in your work, ensuring that any assigned service job is completed to the customer's satisfaction first time, every time. Your strong technical capabilities, ability to work under pressure, and calm and positive attitude will make you an asset to our team.

This front-line role is critical to growing our business as after-sales service is crucial to ensuring customers are loyal to the brand. You will report directly to the Sales Manager Marine- India for administrative purposes and functionally report into the Service Leader - Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure thorough preparation for service calls, including spares availability
  • Perform onboard service and onsite commissioning within the region and worldwide
  • Participate in testing, calibration, and verification of system setup of products and marine systems
  • Understand customer requirements fully to provide efficient and optimum solutions
  • Complete and sign service reports prior to submission
  • Provide comprehensive remote support to customers to ensure loyalty
  • Setup, install, configure, and maintain simulation/demo tools or systems as required
  • Carry out On the Job Training when possible to share knowledge and experience
  • Maintain tool condition and certification
  • Recognize and accept HSE Roles & Responsibilities as defined in company policies and procedures
  • Travel up to 80% of the time across the Indian Sub-Continent, Middle East & African region

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Electrical/Electronic, Marine or Instrumentation background
  • Marine automation experience as a service engineer
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle time-sensitive tasks
