About the Role
The Regional Lead will oversee a team of Student Recruitment Managers, providing strategic guidance and support to drive recruitment efforts forward.
- Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor SRMs to achieve their full potential.
- Develop and implement performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct regular reviews, training, and coaching sessions to enhance performance.
- Regional Strategy & Planning
- Design and execute regional recruitment strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regional performance.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Agent & Partner Management
- Oversee SRMs in building and managing agent networks that drive results.
- Ensure consistent engagement, training, and compliance across partner relationships.
- Represent the organization at high-level meetings and events.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Working
- Work closely with marketing, admissions, and compliance teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Partner with university representatives to strengthen brand visibility and credibility.
- Maintain open communication channels between regional teams.
- Performance & Reporting
- Drive results against agreed student recruitment targets.
- Regularly monitor and report on SRM and regional performance metrics.
- Establish best practices for efficient operations and continuous improvement.
- Brand Building & Representation
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions.
- Promote the organization's value proposition to agents, students, and other stakeholders.
- Support in developing presentations, workshops, and training sessions to enhance branding and representation.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 6–10 years of experience in higher education student recruitment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing teams and achieving targets.
- Strong understanding of international education markets and trends.
- Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and people management skills.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver results within tight timelines.
- High level of professionalism, initiative, and independence.
