Key Role: Data Governance Professional

About the Job:

We are looking for an expert data governance professional to lead and manage our organization's data governance initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in configuration, integration, workflow development, and stakeholder engagement.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Implement and administer a comprehensive data management platform.
  • Design and configure the operating model, including domains, assets, workflows, and roles.
  • Develop and maintain custom workflows using business process modeling notation (BPMN) and a workflow designer.
  • Integrate the data management platform with enterprise systems using APIs and connectors.
  • Collaborate with data stewards, data owners, and business users to define and enforce data governance policies.
  • Implement and monitor data quality rules, lineage, and metadata management.
  • Provide training and support to business and technical users on data management best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or data quality.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with a data management platform, including configuration, workflow development, and integration.
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data stewardship, and data lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in APIs, BPMN, and scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, JavaScript).
  • Experience with data cataloging, lineage, and business glossary in a data management platform.
  • Familiarity with data platforms like Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Informatica, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data governance certification is a plus.
