Procurement Specialist Job Description

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for finalizing contracts for residential civil buildings, including RCC structures, waterproofing, fabrication works, and steel structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Finalize contracts for civil packages by awarding tenders and managing vendor relationships.
  • Review and shortlist vendors from the vendor management system to ensure best value for our projects.
  • Conduct value engineering reviews of tender documents to identify areas for improvement.
  • Negotiate and award contracts with vendors who meet our quality and cost requirements.
  • Manage correspondence with vendors during the award process to ensure smooth communication.
  • Document all tender-related correspondence, approval notes, and clarifications to maintain transparency.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in real estate sector procurement or subcontract department.
  • Proficient in managing internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, design departments, construction teams, site commercial, budgeting, legal, accounts, and finance.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP functions and proficient in MS Office applications to streamline processes.
  • Knowledge of various commercial instruments, such as taxation, LC, VFS discounting schemes, would be an added advantage in this role.
