Finance Professional Job Description

As a finance professional in this role, you will be responsible for producing and distributing liquidity reports to local entities within the organization. This includes regular product-level and metric-level analytics before final distribution of the metrics to regulators.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for production and timely delivery of liquidity reports (i.e. LCR, NSFR, ALMM)
  • Analyze variances and provide commentary
  • Have a good understanding of Balance sheet and regulatory reporting process
  • Ensure positive and productive engagement with stakeholders
  • Run ad-hoc analyses and communicate results to key stakeholders
  • Perform quality checks and reviews to ensure accurate and complete report production
  • Engage on change projects
  • Have good development knowledge of SQL, Python and Tableau

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong data analysis skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Fair understanding of various banking products
  • Experience in reporting and analytical tools like Axiom, Tableau, SQL, Python, Alteryx
  • Previous experience in production and review of BAU reports, validation and control, analysis and provision of business commentary
  • (Preferred) Investment bank background
  • (Preferred) Understanding of regulatory reporting within a Banking environment or Treasury function. Liquidity reporting experience preferable but not mandatory

Education/ Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification
