
Toys Category Growth Specialist

Job Overview:
The Category Lead will be responsible for driving the growth of the Toys category by developing and executing strategic plans, managing brand partnerships, and collaborating across functions to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive category growth, including assortment expansion, SKU optimization, and supply chain improvement.
- Manage end-to-end brand lifecycles for global brands, scaling them in international markets through strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration.
- Build and manage a portfolio of curated brands exclusively in the Toys category, driving profitability and scalability through margin management and GMV contribution.
- Prioritize and execute strategies that drive business growth, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Contribute to a robust omnichannel presence across Ecommerce and offline channels, leveraging expertise in marketplace/retail selling: category strategy, pricing, visibility, and marketing levers.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in category management, including 4+ years in offline retail and eCommerce, and at least 2+ years in the Toys category.
- Proven track record of success in scaling assortment and lifecycle SKU management, with a demonstrated ability to drive profitability and scalability.
- Expertise in cross-functional collaboration across brand, ops, tech, and analytics, with a strong understanding of Toys' specific consumer behavior, product assortment, manufacturing, and supplier network.
