Job Opportunity for Experienced Corporate Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled and accomplished corporate attorney with extensive expertise in IT services and consulting. This individual will play a crucial role in providing strategic legal guidance on corporate, commercial, and contractual matters while ensuring compliance and supporting business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality contract drafting, review, and negotiation services for commercial agreements, MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and vendor agreements.
  • Offer expert legal advice on corporate governance, employment law, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
  • Collaborate closely with business teams to facilitate client negotiations, ensure smooth deal closures, and provide counsel on key business decisions.
  • Ensure seamless compliance with data protection laws, IT regulations, and international standards (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Manage legal risks and proactively provide strategic advice to senior leadership.
  • Liaise with external counsel to resolve litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters.
  • Develop policies, processes, and compliance frameworks for global operations.
  • Provide internal training and awareness sessions on compliance and legal best practices.
Requirements:
  • Hold an LLB or LLM degree from a reputable institution.
  • Possess at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, preferably in IT services or consulting organizations.
  • Demonstrate strong expertise in contract drafting and negotiation with international clients.
  • Have familiarity with data privacy, intellectual property, labor, and employment laws.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Be able to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in mid-to-large IT services/consulting companies.
  • Exposure to multi-jurisdictional contracts and cross-border legal issues.
  • Membership in a Bar Council / Corporate Legal Association is beneficial.
